Applying for a place in Reception and beyond.

Places for all year groups (except for Nursery) are allocated through the London Borough of Barnet. Our admissions authority is The Elliot Foundation and they set the admissions criteria for applying for current places.

If you are applying for a place for September 2024 the admissions criteria can be downloaded here

To apply, contact admissions at the London Borough of Barnet here.  Please note that there are errors in the Barnet Guide and the following should be noted -

  • The Academy will now be considering all Medical and Social need applications, not the Director of Education and Skills

  • Foster siblings are no longer included in the definition of a sibling

  • The Academy now has a 'Children of Staff' criteria

Please remember that even children already attending our nursery must apply through Barnet for a reception place.

Applying for a place in nursery.

Admissions for the nursery are managed at the school and the applications should be returned to the school.  Children start nursery in the school term after their second or third birthday and are offered five mornings or five afternoons per week.  The number of hours each family is entitled to as free provision varies (see below).  It is also possible for parents to pay for additional hours for two or three-year-olds.  We offer extended daycare from 8 am and until 6 pm and provision in school holidays.   Our nursery uses the same admissions criteria as the rest of the school.
