Introduction: 

In 2019 we successfully bid for money from the British Council Erasmus programme to support our work with our partner school, Ausias March in Madrid, Spain.
Through this work, pupils and staff have begun to learn Spanish language and have enjoyed sharing work in many curriculum areas such as Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship education, RE, Geography, Art, PE, DT and RE. We have shared our cultures, traditions and heritage with each other so we have an insight into how we can celebrate differences as well as considering how we are similar, despite living in different places.

Here at Parkfield, we are very proud of our school community and wanted to share some of the work we have done through our British Council funded projects.

Jan 2024  - Parkfield Primary School was awarded the highest level of accreditation by The British Council.  We were awarded Internaional schools award for the work done to embed an international dimension to our curriculum
